The multimedia work of artist Rosell Meseguer examines the transformation of space and the overarching concept of defense in social, political, military, and espionage arenas. She has held research residencies at MOMA, New York; Tate Britain; Columbia University, New York; Victoria & Albert Museum, London; and the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, among others. Her work has been exhibited at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid; South Florida Art Center, Miami Beach; Galeria Senda, Barcelona; and the Centro Cultural de Espana, Santiago, among many other venues. She holds a Ph.D. in Visual Art from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid where she is also a professor.
