Paula Wilson (born in Chicago, IL, 1975; lives in Carrizozo, NM) received her MFA from Columbia University in 2005 and has since been featured in group and solo exhibitions in the United States and Europe, including the Studio Museum in Harlem; Sikkema Jenkins & Co., New York; Bellwether Gallery, New York; Fred Snitzer Gallery, Miami; The Fabric Workshop and Museum, Philadelphia; Johan Berggren Gallery, Sweden; and Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw. Her work is in the collections of the Studio Museum Harlem, Yale University Art Gallery, Saatchi Gallery, Fabric Workshop and Museum, and Moore College of Art and Design.

Wilson is a recipient of numerous grants and awards including a 2009 Joan Mitchell Artist Grant and the Bob and Happy Doran Fellowship at Yale University, where she was a Visiting Critic in 2013. Her teaching experience also includes lectureships at Ox-Bow School of Art, University of Tennessee, The City College of New York, and Massachusetts College of Art and Design, among others.
